Closing plenary - Bridging Multilateral Ecosystems for Peace and Security

3 Jun 2026 Grand Salon, Park Hyatt Vienna, Austria Closing Ceremony
Geneva Peace Forum

This closing plenary session will reflect on how Geneva and Vienna-based actors, together with states and other partners, can strengthen complementarity across the peace and security landscape. Building on key takeaways from the thematic discussions, it will explore how more coherent and connected multilateral engagement can help address today’s complex and interlinked challenges.

The session will consider ways to bridge institutional, thematic, and geographic silos; foster collaboration across different areas of expertise; and reinforce the collective capacity of multilateral actors to prevent conflict, respond to crises, and sustain peace. It will also provide an opportunity to draw together the main insights of the event and to identify practical pathways for stronger cooperation across the wider peace and security ecosystem.
