Fabio works with UNDP Crisis Bureau in New York as Senior Advisor on Policy Research and Learning. Before joining the Crisis Bureau, Fabio worked as UN Peace and Development Advisor (PDA) in Tunisia, Cambodia, Guyana and Suriname. He started his UN career in 2008 at the UN System Staff College conducting conflict analysis processes and delivering peacebuilding training to country teams and peace operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Mauritania, Nepal, Somalia, and Sudan. Between 2003 and 2006, Fabio worked as conflict analyst in Nepal as part of a project funded by the Swiss Development Agency. He holds a Ph.D. in international relations and a master’s in international history and politics from the Graduate Institute in Geneva.
