Kouacou Dominique Koffy

Dominique Koffy Kouacou is the Head of the Emergency and Resilience Team at the FAO Subregional Office for West Africa and the Sahel. With more than 20 years of experience across humanitarian, resilience, and development programmes in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, he has led and supported responses to food security crises, conflict, displacement, and climate-related shocks. He has served in several FAO leadership roles, including as FAO Representative ad interim in Nigeria and to ECOWAS, as well as Acting FAO Representative in Mali. Mr. Kouacou is committed to strengthening the humanitarian-development-peace nexus through resilient agrifood systems, inclusive natural resource governance, and community-based approaches to conflict prevention and social cohesion."
