Dr. Nathalie Herlemont

Nathalie Herlemont is the Executive Director of the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. She holds a PhD in political science, with a specialisation in international humanitarian law, certificates in International Criminal Law and Refugee law, and brings more than 25 years of experience across the humanitarian and academic sectors. Dr. Herlemont most recently served as Chief Analyst and, before that, Head of Programme at ACAPS in Geneva. Previously, she was Executive Director of the Handicap International Foundation and Head of Strategic Policy and Humanitarian Advocacy at Handicap International – Humanity and Inclusion.
