Sandra is Head of Policy, Research and Legal at Geneva Call Her research focuses on the theory and practice of international law that applies during times of armed conflict, and other situations of violence, in particular terrorism. In particular, she has been researching and writing on the intersection between armed conflict and terrorism, including in relation to the so-called 'foreign fighter' phenomenon, and the application of human rights during times of armed conflict.
