2026 Geneva PeaceTalks: Choose Peace

This year's edition of Geneva PeaceTalks is a reminder that peace belongs at the heart of our global story, and a call to action for everyone who believes that. Join us to hear powerful, personal stories from diplomats, peacebuilders, community leaders, and artists who are choosing peace — in neglected crises, on the frontlines, in their daily lives. Through storytelling and artistic performance, this event turns the abstract into the human, and the distant into the personal. This isn't just an occasion for listening — it's an invitation to act. 

Leave inspired to see your own role in building peace, and empowered to support the initiatives that matter to you, or to take action of your own. PeaceTalks is a global platform that elevates storytelling as a tool for fostering dialogue and cultivating mutual understanding. 

Since its founding by Interpeace, the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform, with the support of the Swiss Government, the initiative has featured over 225 speakers from more than 60 nationalities. Storytelling is a powerful educational and peacebuilding tool — one that turns topics usually addressed in the abstract into something human, fostering empathy, understanding, and dialogue.

The event will be followed by a cocktail offered by the Swiss Authorities.
