Haggai Mario Quissimuço Maunze is Head of ADIN’s Strategic Development, Studies and Projects Unit and a member of ADIN’s Executive Committee. He is the Government of Mozambique’s principal focal point for the Peace and Security Investment Hub (PSIH), a first-of-its-kind, government-embedded peace finance initiative focused on originating and developing peace-positive investment opportunities. In this role, he helps connect government priorities and local development needs with private sector and development finance opportunities. Mr. Maunze has served at ADIN since 2021, previously leading its Economic Programmes Management Unit. Since 2017, he has managed programmes across Mozambican public institutions at the intersection of humanitarian action, peacebuilding and development. His previous roles include Director of Economic Activities Services and Director of Agriculture and Food Security within the Provincial Government of Cabo Delgado, as well as District Director of Economic Activities Services in Boane. Earlier in his career, he worked in Brazil with private-sector companies Vale and Emater and with the higher education institution FEAD-MG.
